Vimazi Running Half Marathon Running Plan (Beginners)
This 20-week entry-level half marathon program begins with 100 minutes (approximately 16 kilometers) per week and reaches a maximum of 280 minutes (approximately 45 kilometers) per week, with three to four running days per week. All runs except certain workouts are measured in minutes (with approximate weekly kilometers) because time is more important than the number of kilometers.
The program is divided into five 4-week cycles, with a seamless transition from one cycle to the next. The last week of each cycle serves as a recovery week.
