This 20-week half marathon program begins with 290 minutes (approximately 64 kilometers) per week and reaches a maximum of 410 minutes (approximately 96 kilometers) per week, with six running days per week. All runs except certain workouts are measured in minutes (with approximate weekly kilometers) because time is more important than the number of kilometers.
The program is divided into four 4-week cycles and two 2-week cycles, with a seamless transition from one cycle to the next. The last week of each cycle serves as a recovery week.
