Successful edition of the 3-country run in 2024

The traditional run connects the three countries Switzerland, France and Germany with start and finish on the well-known market square, right in the heart of Basel.

This year marked the 32nd edition and the marathon distance was also offered for the first time, which attracted great interest. There was also a new participant record across all categories.

The Frenchman Cédric Oesterlé won the men's race with an impressive time of 2:36:37 and the German Doris Marquardt won the women's race with a time of 3:07:45.

Vimazi was there for the first time as a sponsor and was also there in person to promote the world's first "pace-tuned" running shoes. The large archway of Vimazi once again caused a stir and the trade fair stand was also heavily visited. All in all, a successful event in bright sunshine. We had fun greeting the many happy runners at the finish. Two category winners were also able to choose a pair of brand new Vimazi shoes as an additional prize, which were ceremoniously presented by the OC of the 3-country run as part of the marathon category awards ceremony.
